NOW, for the first time, musicians everywhere can afford to look as good as they sound!
You may have spent loads on gear, lessons, hair, and makeup, spent years and years practising, but how much have you invested in your image?
Ok, I was kidding about the hair and makeup - maybe - but graphic design is too often left to the drummer's girlfriend's neighbour's cousin's nephew because he will do it for free.
Free is good. Or can be. But honestly - would you let someone who had just heard their first CD mix yours? or let someone who doesn't know a decibel from a handbell work sound at your next gig? or would buy your instruments from a grade 9 woodshop class?
So why are you putting your image - the one thing that people experience first about you - in the hands of inexperienced amateurs?
You want your CD to look right, you want your posters to attract people and you need your fans to know that you take your job seriously.
You sound good - now look good, too!
