Lorenzo Senni (b. 1983) is a sound/media artist residing near Bologna. He studies Musicology at University in Bologna and his work focuses on create electronic soundscapes with laptop and DIY software.
Now he is also studying with the international photographer Guido Guidi to achieve a better view of the evolutive process of the contemporary landscape and to analyze the relations between field recording and photography. Now he is involved in soundscape studies.
He played around Europe with his SOLO project and with JUGLANDACEE ( electro-acoustico impro trio with E. Malatesta and R. Baruzzi). He also plays drums on Le Harmacy free noise trio.
Lorenzo Senni collaborates with the photographer Cesare Fabbri on open work named "Passaggi Sonori" (photos_sinewaves) and with the "tout court" artist Alessandro Panzavolta "Orthographe" (Venice Theatre Biennial 2006) on a project about sound and numbers named "Erinnerung" (Festival delle colline torinesi 2007) He also work on sound design of last Orthographe theatrical piece.
