Lotus Root is a new DJ Crew/Collective dedicated to dubstep music!
We are currently under construction, but we will still be posting info, pics and audio.

Dashe
DJ Cyan (aka Ryan Romana) is no stranger to the world of music. He has been DJing since 1997, and has been involved with many of the top events associated with the San Francisco Dubstep scene.
With a background in Hip Hop and Drum and Bass, his unique mixing style lends to very dynamic dubstep sets. This man knows how to rinse out a crowd!
As well as being part of the newly formed Lotus Root Crew, he is also an active member and has been involved with Soul Stream, Grime City, Surefire, Six Degrees Records, and more. Most recently, Cyan was booked alongside the Grime City DJ's to open up for the infamous Skream (Tempa UK) at the Regency Ballroom (SF), and performed with MC Child in front of crowd of hundreds of people for the Haight Street Festival.
Keep a look out for forthcoming mixes from this man, or check him out and the other residents at Grime City every 3rd Friday at Anu (6th & Market St., SF)
Dashe
Dashe (aka Jim Romana) is another integral part of the Lotus Root family. As a Soul Stream counterpart along with Cyan and DJ Ric, Dashe is creating some stellar mixes and is coming in on his own in the world of Dubstep.
Similarly to his brother Cyan, Dashe has a background spinning Hip Hop and Drum and Bass. He also has been DJing for about 10 years and most recently been hitting the studio and working on his own produced tracks.
After the buzz of his first Dubstep tune "Tiger Bomb", he has been busy working on other sizzlers such as "Ain't No Sunshine" (remix) and the most recent, "Pick Up" (remix), a horn-blowing killer from the San Francisco band Phonofly. Keep a look out for this one on vinyl soon.
Dashe is currently finishing his second Dubstep mix, which will be available for download early February 08.
