About

In the fall of 06 my wife Diane and I started the most incredible journey of our lives. Married 13 years no kids and no hope of ever having our own, we looked at each other and said, "lets take care of someone else's."

It would become the best thing we have ever done.

We wandered through foster care classes; adoption training and a host of parent training seminars and BAM! Within a few short months three little kids came wandering into our lives with one tiny box of stuff between them.

We were shell shocked to say the least. It was an overnight instant riot running loose in our house with enough personality issues to keep a team of professionals busy for a lifetime.

Tired... and 40, both of us would ask ourselves daily "What the hell are we doing!" Little did we realize God is bigger than three kids and our penchant for self-preservation.

What started out as a great feel good idea quickly became the hardest thing we have ever done. Today it is the passion that keeps us alive and the one thing we would love you to do.

We need you to know... kids need you desperately. They need your help. They need your time. They need your bedroom. They need your family. They need your faith. They need your love. They need you.

You can be single, married, rich, poor, black, white whatever. They generally don't care and always think you're great. That's the cool thing about kids.

Now, I'm not talking about my three, I'm keeping them... you get your own. We can help. Let us know.

"Love Everyone And Candy"
Is a quote from my six-year-old foster daughter Mia Pia, when asked... "What are the most important things in life?" She replied, "Love Everyone and Candy, Daddy."

Love Eeveryone and Candy - is designed to encourage you to adopt, foster, befriend, love and care for orphans everywhere.

I'm so with you on this one, bro. I feel it's only a matter of time before my wife and I adopt. It won't be soon, she is about to give birth to our second daughter... but adoption is inevitable. For those considering adoption I offer someone else's words of wisdom. "To the world you are just one person. But to one person, you could just be the world."
