Wake up
open my eyes
and start my list of "why?"s.

Up up up in the sky
I can see a little bird fly.

What's that he's carrying?
Is it a tiny seed?
Will it turn into a tree...

one that might carry me...

up up into the sky
where I saw that little guy fly?

And will I be small and shy
if the bird drops by.

Or will we chat and will we sing?
And if so, what will he bring?
Will he bring the little seed
the little one the tree will need...

that little seed it needs to grow
to meet the sky and say hello?

I decide I just don't know.
It must must just just be so.

But it's like a little show
like looking at a Van Gogh.

Thoughts and clouds blow to and fro
as I gaze out my window.
