About

Operation British is my first chiptune album. It covers a large range of Gundam themes songs, from the original series to some more recent. For the most part it sticks to the Universal Century shows. There's a few extra songs to round it out from other series I enjoyed. It was actually started just after Magfest 5 and slowly worked on in between other projects/life. It's a combination of Nintendo and Super Nintendo sounds and has far too many channels to replicate any particular console.

Most NES samples (square, triangle, triangle, noise channel) are from Norrin Radd's (always awesome) chiptunes. The snare drum I sampled myself from a Ninja Gaiden nsf (I think it was the second one). The cymbals, kick drum, piano, etc.. samples are from a zip file I found somewhere, filled with various SNES samples. Everything was tracking in Modplug except the Megadrive/Genesis version of Men of Destiny - which was done in TFM Musik Maker. The voice clips of me were run through a DPCM converter to sound more NES (provided by WizardsandWarriors). Lastly, the shitty cover art was made in paint.net.
