About

"Macropsia is a neurological condition affecting human visual perception, in which objects appear larger than normal, and the subject smaller. Temporary macropsia can be also caused by the actions of various psychoactive drugs, notably cannabis and magic mushrooms, in particular the Amanita muscaria mushroom, as referenced in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Drug-induced changes in perception subside as the chemical leaves the body."

Macropsia is the sole project of Lee Williams and was started on March 1st 2008 as a sole effort to produce music that inspires emotions and influences concepts of existence. It will continue to evolve until there are 3 albums over the next 2 years and finish in 2010. The producer is currently working as a post production engineer in Malaysia and will be venturing into sound design and more in-depth methods of music production.

Each album will be based on a different concept.

-"The great tryptamine" is based on the intent to inform and transform concepts through musical interpretation of linguistic quotations.

Thank you for your time.

Macropsia, Feb 7, 2009:

sorry for all the delays, striving to get the new album rolling but once it gets on the go i'm sure i'll pump out a fair few tunes for you all.

Macropsia, Dec 17, 2008:

shouldn't be to long now before i get the new album underway. This time i reckon i will be producing a story line for the entire album so it "develops" from track to track. i shall keep you all updated as things move along.

DJ Möet, Nov 17, 2008:

Mate if you're not already, you should be doing movie scores... Nice sounds here

Sonom, Nov 17, 2008:

Txanks! I Elegant microsounds and deep emotive melodies at your music.... i would love to listen a more minimalistic approach and some vectorial counterpoints....

static itch, Nov 16, 2008:

Ahh Wasp! You must know Adam then! I was last attached to Scat Prod. for about 4 plus years before it folded. And yeah, hopefully this music thing will take me somewhere too. Lol. Have a good one buddy!

Macropsia, Nov 16, 2008:

Thank all of you for your kind words and support throughout the production of this album, i wouldn't have been able to get this far without all of you. if anyone wants a copy of "the great tryptamine" just drop me a line and i will happily send you a copy for free.

static itch, Nov 14, 2008:

Hey man, thanks for reaching out and for the kind words! Your tunes are sick! I'm definitely feeling 'Spun'. Just curious, where are you are you working at the moment. I spent about 5 years working as an engineer in KL. Anyway, keep up the great work and stay in touch!

Peace.

Pandura Street, Nov 11, 2008:
