Macropsia

Experimental / Ambient / Electronica

Byron Bay, Australia

Biography

"Macropsia is a neurological condition affecting human visual perception, in which objects appear larger than normal, and the subject smaller."

Macropsia is the sole project of Lee Williams and was started on March 1st 2008 as a sole effort to produce music that inspires emotions and influences concepts of existence. It will continue to evolve until there are 3 full (1 hour) albums over the next 2 years and finish in 2010. Currently the producer is working as a post production engineer in Malaysia and will be venturing into sound design and more in-depth methods of music production.

Each album will be based on a different concept.

-"The great tryptamine" is based on the intent to inform and transform concepts through musical interpretation of linguistic quotations.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Macropsia! thanks for the request and also the great message! I have been making music for about 3-4 years now. I do think I've got something new to offer the music world, I hope it will be successful. I try to work with different genres on my albums to please eveyone I can, and also inject something which is my own take on creating something new. I've got two albums for download on Virb the are called - "Last survivor from tape" and "10" - please listen to them when you can for your own listening pleasure and please tell people about my music, that would be great! I'm currently listening your pieces, they are very atmospheric and full of emotion. "today" has a pretty sound, I like the feel of the kick drums in your music! Your experience and knowledge of sound does show very well in your music! I will be back to hear more, keep in touch. Electro existence

Now there's a worthy project if ever there was one & I'll sure give it all my support, knowing how difficult it can be to actually "bring something back" from across the vast & unexplored dimensions of the great tryptamine continuum. Lovely ! Oh ! I forgot to mention - though it's only a minor detail - that this music is great.
