Mallory Grogan is a musician based out of the Bay Area, California. She started singing when she was a toddler, to follow in her mother's footsteps, and then went through a period where music was taboo for her. Only recently did she find it as an appropriate outlet, and finally find her voice again...
Denied Interventions is her first album, yet to be released, and is an experiment of her own creation, expressing the doubts, fears, and joys she has experienced throughout her lifetime. A lot can happen in 20 years! She enjoys collaborating with other artists, so please contact her if you are interested.
Her influences include Depeche Mode, Chris Vrenna, Karsh Kale, Portishead, Afro Celt Sound System, and various electronica artists between the genres.
Mallory likes animals and nature, and has been a practicing Celtic Pagan for ages! She has an Egyptian Mau kitten named Sagira who likes to sleep on her face. Currently at SFSU for a BA in Philosophy and Religion, she plans on attending Holistic Health School soon after and becoming a massage therapist and life coach.
She is also a sexy vampire.
