Malwav is the main production alias of Cheltenham based producer Michael Wintle, who has also recorded under the alias Malevolent Wavelength on Exegene and Darkland Recordings. With a sound described as “lush and chilled, yet terrifying”, Malwav’s music inhibits an insidiously dark and often strangely beautiful mind space.
At the current time, Malwav is continuing to build on his unique dark atmospheric sound and epileptic beats, with a more organic and cinematic vibe smothered by deep sub bass drones.
