We are a collective of creative social entrepreneurs who are dreaming for a better world. Manna creative collective explores six elements of life: Love, Hope, Beauty, Justice, Forgiveness, and Peace as we understand that these are essential aspects of bringing and making injustice non-existent. As a collective we illustrate what these elements mean to us personally and put those designs on 100% sweat shop free t-shirts to sell for the benefit of those in Poverty and Slavery.
We will have six seasons of shirts with every element of life per season, which 90% of the sales will go to a non-profit or person in need. The other 10% will cover the cost of making more shirts.
The first element we will be exploring and designing will be LOVE because out of Love comes all the elements. We act because of Love...so join our collective of friends and make a difference to cultivate change! We only ask that you would donate your art work of what you feel LOVE means to you, we will then put your representation of Love on a shirt...and then we can riot together! We are Inclusive
everyone who is willing can be apart of the collective. We do not believe in exclusivism.
The first Organization we will be donating the shirt sales too will be Nightlight...
Nightlight is a beautiful ministry in Bangkok Thailand, dedicated to helping women
and children out of prostitution and human trafficking sex slavery. There is no one women who wants to work as a prostitute, they are forced to because it is their only way of not placing themselfs in complete poverty. Nightlight offers emeployment and housing for those enslaved and in prostitution through making fine jewelery. Please check out their site: www.nightlightbangkok.com
Their need:
At the moment Nightlight has 84 women that they have been able to give dignity and grace that every women deserves, but there are so many other women that want to get out of the prostitution lifestyle and are needing Nightlight's help but Nightlight has had to resort to a waiting list which is heart breaking for them to do.
So Manna's first line of shirt sales will be sent directly to Nightlight in order for them to get a bigger space for the women. Thanks for your concern and prayers.
