Small things don't get enough credit, though they help hold up the heavy world. Atoms, carbon molecules, weeds, sparrows and fireflies are small things. One little word in season, a piece of art in a window display or a scrap of music in the car driving by--these can make a bad day bearable.
Write a little story about yesterday, and send it to a family member. Or go outside and take a picture of the house across the street, and give that neighbor your photograph as a surprise present. Next time you're stopped at an intersection and your CD's playing one of your favorite songs, roll down the window and let everybody hear you singing along. Isn't it grand?
