Danish vocalist Maria Kohnke released her first solo album Collector earlier this year. A collection of mildly tripped out, beautiful and melancholy songs that you could call pop. Critics have praised her sound as "heavenly brightness & resonating darkness."
Maria and friend Christian Bech produced the entire Collector album at home in Maria's livingroom, which added positively to the album's idiosyncratic tonalities. Maria personally supervised all artistic and technical recording aspects and used the instruments at hand to create her pleasingly distinctive music. "Collector" was mixed by the Swedish producer Per Sunding.

Hey Maria, keep up the good music. Everything is a great song.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!

Hello Maria. What well-made tunes you have here. If you asked us what is our favourite we might say "One plus one is zero" for the straight-ahead and sweet melody line. Thank you for the invite, and welcome to our little crew. -- William & Polly
