Martin Gore is a guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist and master songwriter for one of the greatest bands that exists today, Depeche Mode.
Leaving his lyrics open for interpretation, Martin's songs appeal to many people, many of whom can personally relate to his lyrics because they touch on such realistic subjects.
"I find songwriting a really personal process, so I don't know if I would actually like to sit in a room with somebody else and write songs."
His work now spans three decades, but he is best known as the composer of hits such as "Personal Jesus" and "Enjoy the Silence" even though to many DM fans he is known for much more than those hits. He is the soul of Depeche Mode.
