Online ordering is a go. I repeat...online ordering is a go. If you would like to buy my new album, life in changes, and would prefer to use a credit card, you can go through paypal by hitting the BUY NOW button to the right. You don't need a paypal account to use this feature. The price is $10 to pay online (as opposed to $8 for cash or check) Both of those prices include any tax and shipping. If you are in the Grand Rapids area and would like to pick one up, they are available at the ARC (which is the resource center at Ada Bible Church) and at all Matt Bell locations. (A Matt Bell location is just the location I happen to be at that moment with CDs in my hand). If you want to go old fashioned, I can take a check at:
Matt Bell
838 Oaklawn St NE
Grand Rapids, MI 49505

Thanks so much for supporting my music. It means the world to me.

The new album...

hey everyone-
as most of you know, the new album is on the way. i am eagerly anticipating a late november cd release for "life in changes". the songs are completely done. now it's just working out the rest. i have to tell you, i am so incredibly excited about how it has turned out (you might even say giddy...you may, i won't). this is a culmination of several years of songs pulled from a number of life experiences...some good and some downright painful. with that, i hope what you find on this album is honesty and a rawness that comes with being willing enough to look deep into yourself...and daring enough to write down what you see.

in these songs is my redemption.

this album is what it is largely because i had the privilege of working with some of the most talented people on the planet...seriously. andy ferris has invested a ton of time into this project and his fingerprints are all over the album. since meeting him, his gifts as a musician have always been evident (in the words of chris walker, "give him 5 minutes with the soda machine and he'll learn to play it") but this gave me a greater appreciation for him as a producer and an engineer. i can't thank andy enough for his time, skill, and creativity that he brought to this project.
another one of these "said" people is the above mentioned chris walker. not only did he write and play all the bass parts for the project (as well as some drum and percussion work) but his input as one of the most music saavy people i know helped me think outside of my often limited musical box.
i am so grateful to both of these guys for helping get these songs out of my head and to where they can hopefully connect with someone somewhere.

so, all that said, i hope you check back to see when the album is done so we can getchu a copy (i just made that word up). until then, please enjoy three of the demos that will be on the project (they are very close to the final version, just unmastered).
