Tres Black is a Christian musician, songwriter, speaker, writer and teacher. The purpose of this ministry is multi-fold. Through music, teaching and testimony, Tres
- Encourages the church to grow in their walk with God, and to enthusiastically embrace His use of them.
- Encourages men to lean on each other and God, and to become strong and active leaders in their homes and in the Kingdom.
- Encourages those wounded by "the church" not to walk away, and to let The Lord heal their wounds.
- Presents the lost with a clear and precise message of the Gospel, pointing them to Christ and salvation.
Tres is a musician, worship leader, speaker, writer and teacher, with over forty years experience as a musician, over twenty years of that in Christian music, and six years in full time ministry. Tres is a veteran of numerous Christian bands and ensembles as well as worship teams over these past 20 years.
In 2003, Tres began full time work ministering throughout Central Florida in churches, addiction recovery ministries, food banks, jails, men’s groups, Bible studies, homeless shelters, and various para-church organizations.
Tres is partnering with his home church, First Baptist Church of Dade City, to expand his ministry to reach more churches, and a larger geographical area. As a full time musician and speaker, he is free to minister throughout Florida, daytime or evening, for just about any function from church services to retreats, conventions, meetings, gospel outreaches, small group meetings and of course, concerts.
Love offerings from concerts and other paid Christian functions allows Tres to continue working with those ministries that are strictly volunteer, and to minister to organizations and groups who cannot afford to pay for his services.
