As Michael Dalton and I prepare for our journey to Iraq it has been noted on more than one occasion that our height, blue eyes and overall American demeanor might cause us to stick out just a bit.

It has also been suggested by more than one person that Michael and I grow beards so as to "blend in" a little more in Iraq during our tenure there. Neither Michael or myself have ever attempted nor are sure if we possess the ability to grow a beard. I am currently 5 weeks and Michael four weeks strong on this journey for follicular manhood.

Michael's seems to actually be growing with the contour of his face while mine is actually some weird hybrid causing me to look like the lovechild of Ashley Judd and Hellraiser.

All things considered, I at least do not get carded at rated R movies anymore.
