Over the weekend I took myself 200 miles away from the capital to visit Manchester. It was fellow Eurobusker; Chris Lydon's birthday and we all turned up at Chris's flat at lunchtime which left us with the dilemma of what to do for the day???

The answer? Spend it watching Black Adder and YouTube.

As you may have guessed from the name of this post the guys put on Charlie Brooker's amazing show "Screen Wipe". I have no idea how I missed this program but I'd never seen it before. It's incredible. Brooker is hilarious and is spot on with his observations but rather than babble on about the show I thought it'd save time and allow you make up your own mind if I just imbed a clip from YouTube.

There are hours of "Screen Wipe" up there but I chose this one because:

1) I posted my own stream of ranting hatred for X-Factor in a previous post.

2) Although it's only a 5 minute clip there's the least amount of swearing even though there are a few unbleeped light swear words.

3) I've just noticed and I don't know why it's there but Charlie has a trumpet on the desk in front of him. It all seems appropriate. . . sort of.
