Cheers to everyone who came to the Third Annual Hamilton Circle Jerk. It was a superb night and all bands were awesome. My favourites were Kimbra and Gawj, not to mention myself too because I'm just that cool.

Anyways, I've got another treat for you. Another demo song posted at www.virb.com/mcstormtroopa (seriously, I don't know why people bother with Myspace as it's a train wreck of a website to use). The new song is called "Blowing up the Universe" and the backing track that was used is Michael Jackson's You Rock my World from the Invincible album. Seriously, MJ and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins are an awesome combination, but MJ will have to make way for MCS as I totally rip apart women's panties with this new track. If you want to hear more Darkchild flavour, I'd recommend Brandy's What about Us from the Full Moon album. Cheers again to DJ Handbrake for introducing me to all this gnarly music and for recording the demos.

In other news, I'm totally digging Alexisonfire's latest album Crisis. Top notch effort. Sucks I'll be missing their live show in Auckland tomorrow...
