From the age of 4, Mary Dyann has always loved fashion. Assisting her mother in cutting patterns and selecting fabrics, she developed a keen fashion sense for fabrics, color, textile and prints encouraging her to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
Mary Dyann then entered the Fashion Institute of Technology (New York, NY) in 2002 and graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Advertising Marketing Communications. Not content with a career in fashion buying or advertising, she focused her interest towards fashion styling and wardrobe consulting. In 2005 she got a big break landing a position working as a design assistant for Polo Ralph Lauren (New York). From there she developed a curiosity for fashion styling and accepted a position as a Fashion Assistant (intern) for Black Book Magazine in New York. Then taking what she learned from hands on experience assisting with photo shoots for Black Book, she decided to start styling on her own.
Today Mary Dyann has worked with some of the industries best photographers and designers and will continue to build her reputation as a phenomenal stylist in the industry.
