sam i am

I'm obsessed with the things I like, such as music and boys. I like quiet time. I hate wastefulness, rootbeer, conformity, seafood, poor grammar, ungratefulness, and public restrooms. I live proudly above the influence of peer pressure and I do as I please. I love people watching, old (but nicely kept) cars, free spiritedness, alone time, hibiscus flowers, DIY, cheap clothes, reading, stripes & patterns, video games, night time, the dollar store, web design, discovering new (to me) music, and cheesy romance. I'm a germaphobe, but I am constantly biting my fingernails. I am blessed with an amazingly strong immune system and I rarely get sick. I don't mind not washing my hair everyday. The natural oils make it cuter to style and it makes me feel kind of wild. I'm a grammar whore, and I'll probably correct you, either to your face or under my breath. I relax at the smell of Subway or blown out matches. I am undecided about my college major at the moment because there is so much that I'm dying to do. I really don't know how I'll choose just one. I am easily amused and I laugh at almost everything. Fire fascinates the hell out of me and I could stare or poke at a bonfire all night.

My new secret obsession is sticking "You Are Beautiful" post-it notes on various public attraction areas (water fountains, elevators, etc). Just a little something to hopefully brighten someone's day. I want everything I say to be "from the mouths of babes", in a sense that I want to tell it like it is and not sugarcoat anything. I don't want to be embarrassed by anything and I want to stand by what I say and do. So when I grow up, I want to be a kid. Before I graduate college, I want to learn how to use a sewing machine to alter clothing. I also hope to develop a first name basis with the people at the local Humane Society. I hope to one day adopt pets of my own, and pray that they all get along. I would probably pick a big dog over a husband any day (unless the guy was amazingly amazing & I have someone in mind.. :] ). But a guy to call my own would be a splendid thing, too. - August 2007
