My first video work and one of the first times I had picked up a video camera (a bit shaky!)... also my first attempt at linking sound and image.
"This is not a Beach" is a minimal narrative short film about dreaming, repetitive city life and escapism. There are also underlying tones in the contrasts between polluting, overcrowded city life and innocence/freedom.
