I'm Kara and I'm a recent west coast -> east coast convert. In the past year I've lived in Indiana, Washington and Maryland. I suppose I'm a US traveler of sorts, except not really. Although I'm thoroughly enjoying the east coast the left coast will always have my ♥.
Last may I graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. I didn't focus 100% on my studies while at Tech. I also played soccer the four years that I was there. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and that too will always have my ♥.

I love going to shows and discovering new bands. Although I don't play any instruments, music is still a major part of my life.
I am a big time geek, or a "dork by default" as I like to put it considering I have a degree in mechanical engineering. To add to my geekiness, when I'm not working/playing soccer/hanging out with friends I spend a vast majority of my time playing computer games. World of Warcraft has consumed my soul and if my computer was better Oblivion would consume part of it as well.
Overall I'm a pretty simple individual. Soccer + music + computer games = Kara. Add a dash of sarcasm and dry humor in there as well for good measure.

I always knew it was good, I just didn't think it was quite this good. It's still not topping Dial In Sounds, which is beyond stellar, but very good stuff.

So, I bought an iPod Friday, 30 gigger, and I can finally put all of my albums, even the ones that were in m4a format; which is what my copy of "Send Us a Signal" is in. It came on shuffle on my iPod on my way home tonight and I listened, that album really is quite fantastic. It may give Dial In Sounds a run for its money. I figured I'd randomly post this on here, since I'm trying to use Virb more, and you would appreciate the random story seeing as your life revolves around this album in the same way my life revolves around Clarity.

I'll be back in May for Bamboozle, and be staying in Jersey after that for the summer. I'm also going to try to go home for a weekend in April, to play a show with Wake Up The City, and maybe a Made In China reunion? I don't know, all that is up in the air. Are you planning to hit up Bamboozle?
