After a lot of intense research (also known as posting on the message board) I’ve finally found the answer to the question of the origin of the RISD 2012 graphic. It was indeed inspired directly from the snowboard that I did for DC. I found out from the creator himself. I find this to be really awesome, that out of all the years, all the schools I was considering attending, everything fell into place for this little coincidence.

Now I just need to find out where that orange that rolled down the hill at me came from…
