I just got home from playing the Songwriter's Supper Club(every Thursday at the Southern Crow, come on down, peoples) and found this in my bulletins. Wow! Thanks to Alan at the Sensory Lullabies: The Ultimate Tribute to Jellyfish for the shout out. I'm honored. My version of "Let This Dream Never End" is streaming over on the page right now if you'd like to check it out and show some love.
-------REPOSTED BULLETIN-------------------------
FROM: Jellyfish Tribute Album
Subject: The Genius of Mike Dees! ("Let This Dream Never End")
Jellyfish fans,
Chances are that when you think of your favorite Jellyfish song, unreleased track "Let This Dream Never End" isn't the first song that comes to mind. Well, US artist Mike Dees has taken this track that was only released in demo form on the Fan Club Box Set and given it the full studio treatment, complete with soaring female backing vocals and a rocking new arrangement. Check it out and see what you think!
Mike is also the only artist who is covering two Jellyfish tracks for this project - in addition to "Let This Dream Never End," Mike also did a brilliant cover of even-more-obscure Jellyfish track "Deliver." Mike's cover of "Deliver" is going to appear on the exclusive 3-track Bonus CD that we'll be giving to everyone who buys a copy of "Sensory Lullabies" from our online store.
You should definitely check out Mike Dees' MySpace page at:

Mike joined the Jellyfish Tribute Album Team relatively late in the process, chose two of the only remaining tracks that weren't yet spoken for, and promptly nailed them both!! The guy's a genius!
Note that we're looking for submissions of the ONE original Jellyfish track we don't yet have a cover of - "Long Time Ago". Check out our blog for details!
Cheers, and happy listening!
