About

The book and film Zorba the Greek best describes the primary polarities I inhabit. Side A (Basil) is where I live in books and thoughts and ideas and try to figure everything out. Side B (Zorba) is where I realize that Side A lacks the madness necessary to give life its joie de vivre, the futility of understanding anything deeply on paper, and the importance of letting go and freefalling into adventures. On most days, you'll find me somewhere on that spectrum.

I make video games for a living which is an interesting job because your only real limitation is yourself. If you think of it and decide to supply the juice, you can concoct anything.

I love to write and could write about my favorite subject (myself) on here forever but it's sunny today and I'm going outside before Seattle disappears under the clouds until next July.
