Just tripped over your sIFR solution (actually mmilo pointed me to it). And just wanted to say it is a totally awesome solution to a very old problem. Two thumbs up from me! Solutions like this are what makes the web a cool place to live.

Hey, I'm sure you're tired of hearing about it, but I covered your McCain prank for my student newspaper, UTM's The Pacer I'm only bothering to tell you about it because unlike the rest of the media, I used a more fitting term for you prank than a 'hack': McCain MySpace site not hacked - 'enhanced'. Thought you might get a kick out of this.

A couple things. Thanks for the blog post as everyone has mentioned. It has been a great read to follow and a place for direction (siRf, virb, etc). Secondly, your header image reminds me of SNL for some reason. Anyways, keep up the good work and best of luck with you and Newsvine.

The homage I had going in honor of your design only lasted two days. BUT I would like to thank you for the inspiration that was my first couple of days on Virb. Actually, I really wanted to thank you for pointing me to Virb. This place is awesome, and had it not been for your post at mikeindustries.com I wouldn't have found it (at least not this early).
You should be well to know that even though I moved on from the "Mike D" look, I moved to a look inspired by tripwire (aka -boltron-). So I think I am in good hands. Thanks again. sectim42
