next up my remake/remodel of 'rescue' by echo & the bunnymen, this started life as a track to play in my dj set at the ochre records festival in cheltenham november 1999, mainly as a bit of fun at will sergeant's expense. will, paul simpson & i travelled down to cheltenham in will's tankmobile. will played live as glide, paul as skyray and i djed between the live performances, paul made a fine job of keeping me medicated for back pain, a lot of bands played that day and i was the only dj.
anyway i'm rambling here, rescue track was for this one off gig in '99 but ended up as a bonus track on the bunnymen single 'it's alright' released in 2001. exactly who it was a bonus for i'm not so sure.

A new page for my eclectic electronica mixes and such.
The first mix up here is introduced by my old pal Billy Burroughs who muses on the question, "when did you stop wanting to be president?"
enjoy/endure.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
