I Laid Alone By The Sound Of Jura is Minimal Disturbance Factor's sixth album. It will be released in digital only format through Indmill.
On Monday 27th October 2008 I travelled to the island of Jura. There, I spent five very cold days living alone in a big old house, with my guitar, a piano, a tin whistle, a small set of pan pipes and some recording equipment. The six pieces on this album were all recorded live during these five days on Jura.
