I started learning to play the guitar at 15 and by 17 I was able to record my first CD with my brother kindly backing me up, we released "Cord of Three Strands" it was a folkie-pop album and not a bad first effort. We I kept writing and recorded my self-titled second album as a sophmore at the University of North Texas. I has learned a lot with C3S and learned even more with "Miranda". i feel like every time I record i learn a ton about music, recording and arranging...i hope that every CD shows that improvement. The last CD that I was able to record was an EP entitled "Seriously". I recorded this just after I married my college sweet heart. Most of the songs were about our dating relationship...you know...love and heart break...all that good stuff!

A year after getting married my husband, Luke got accepted to one of the primer Universities in the world...Oxford! Without hesitation we loaded all of our stuff in to storage and headed over to Jolly'ol England for possibly the greatest adventure of our lives! We lived in this tiny basement in the center of one of the most romantic cities in the world. I waited tables at this French resturant and Luke got his MA in Sociology. We were able to travel and meet people from all over the world...quite life changing. The song "Oxford, Texas" was inspired by this adventure, and if you have ever been to England, perhaps you will be able to enjoy in a special way.

So...now we have settled in Austin, TX...that's right, live music capital of the world! We have been herejust under a year...and we really do love it. I am getting to plug in to the music scene here, explore my sound...writing techniques and refine my talents in to the most excellent art possible. I am currently working on a demo that will hopefully turn in to my fourth album...so stay tuned...
