Went to the Bessie Smith strut tonight and what an experience that was.

First of all, I was in the minority by a long shot.

2. I did not get the memo that I was supposed to wear the tightest and most revealing clothing I own.

3. I did not bring my babies in hopes to finding his/her Daddy.

4. I did hear some good music

5. I am ashamed of the majority of white people who think that the electric slide is appropriate outside of a wedding reception.

6. The food was GOOD!

7. I got a 16oz. Bud Light for $1.

8. I saw two fifteen year old girls beat the crap out of each other in cobra neck fashion.

9. Three men on roller skates danced around to a really good blues band from New Orleans.

10. I was propositioned by a cop.
