Equisetum arvense - Moderate - Astringent (specific to the urinary system) Diuretic, antihemorrhagic and antiinflammatory Locally - Styptic and vulnerary Indications: Good for lack of tone in the bladder as it is toning towards the bladder. Helps to stop elderly or young children wetting the bed. Prolapse in the bladder. Good for connective tissue where silica is the building block, Inflammation and oedema, for any urinary problems. Active Constituents: Silicic acid (source of silicon), aconitic acid, saponins, alkaloids, fixed oils, flavonoids and phytosterols.
