Is the anniversary of my first ever solo gig, pre-Modulator ESP
This just popped into my head
The evening after the attacks on the WTC I was performing a short improvised set in a tiny little bar near the castle in Nottingham. It was very weird and the audience was particularly subdued
IIRC I just took my Wavestation, Supernova and ER-1
I was joined for one section by Bev, a girl I used to know, on wordless vocals, which fitted really well.
She also played a mean conga, and I always meant to collaborate with her again but it never happened.
I was a nervous wreck before I played, but when I got started it all went rather well and the ideas from the set were incorporated in part one of random fluctuations
