This last set is from the interior of Erwan and Delphine's apartment. Since this wasn't a planned shoot or anything, I didn't really take a ton of pictures. You know, their stuff is everywhere and on top of that the place is really narrow, which is a problem with a non-full frame sensor digital camera (multiplies focal length by 1.5, so 28mm (which I have) becomes 42 mm).
So, I just took some shots of the funky doors and the cool stair wall, which had this really unusual texture-
The stairs were originally open, ie without the storage area beneath them, and I am sure that made the kitchen/dining room area a bit roomier. As it was it was small, but easily accomodated four people and with the right table you could get six or eight in there no problem.
In the dining area you had the entry to one of the patios. There are two, one on each side of the unit; one in the kitchen/dining area and the other upstairs in the bedoom. Whats cool about this door is the dog ears (the handles that open and close it) that are somewhat ship like-
By the way, if its not obvious from how crooked that shot is, I haven't spent any time tweaking these images at all.
And upstairs, to continue with the ship thing (and also remember, the doors just wide enough for a normal sized man) you had the bathoom doors-
The first door is the 'bathroom', which means sink and bathtub, and the door that is open is the WC, or toilet. In the background you can see what is essentially the second bedroom, with nothing but glass walls (including into the bedroom, which you can see the door to in the mirror). Of course this makes the second bedroom perfect for a nursery, and thats exactly what Erwan and Delphine used it for.
The WC was pretty much cramped (knees touching the other wall when you are seated, practically), but it had this cool wallpaper that was actually not paper at all, it was linoleum-
So, thats pretty much it. 2 bedroom, 1 bath (separate bath and wc, which is pretty common here), in a pretty cool building that has a school on top and a pretty big park right next door, walking distance from the metro. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 750 or maybe 800 sq ft (but I am horrible at spatial estimations). 600 eu per month...
