this week's concept was to write the melody with the guitar. so i recorded myself playing the guitar for a few minutes, and then cut and sliced and rearranged that recording over and over until it resembled something that could be called a melody. then i used melodyne to output midi information from the guitar track, and used that to control a synth. a bit of drum programming, and there it is.
