so, this week's song here took a bit longer than a week to finish. i had a feeling that it was something pretty good, and i didn't want to rush the mixing process and wind up with a decent song that was poorly mixed. so i spent an extra day or so mixing, and i really feel like it shows.

i think my drum programming/fucking up is really coming into it's own here lately. and i'm getting much more adept at using logic (i just switched from cubase 3 to logic 8.... so much nicer). logic is so well put together, it's just so easy to work in.

i think week 8 might be the last song for awhile. i want to focus on synth patches and digital painting for a month or two, so i'll probably shelve the whole finished-song-in-a-week thing for a minute.
