Tascam 424 MK II

I just got a used 424 Mk II over ebay and it really takes me back. I first got one of these machines about eleven years ago as a gift from my parents (back then this was a pretty expensive item and I was totally thrilled)... I used it for my first ever recording, which as I recall was a cover of "Wish You Were Here." Later I took it off to boarding school and recorded my first songs with a band, with titles like "Tainted Cloud" "I'm Sick" and "Back from the Deep". Definite high-point was one summer when I recorded a cover of the classic Who track "Can't Explain". I worked for weeks on it, but alas it was lost when my parents moved a few years ago...

Pictures is our first CDR, which was given out to friends during 2005 and 2006.
