One of the great things about New York is obviously the vast number of great musicians with great, broad tastes. I have been the happy beneficiary of this aspect of the city of late; Movie has a permanent line-up for the foreseeable future, with my old friend Austin Barney handling the guitar and my newer friend Jake Brunner manning the drums. These two cats are serious, and the music we have been making over the last month of practice is happily full of developments. Here are a few things that are going to happen:

We are going to record new versions (sequels) of several of the songs off Directions. These will be released on an EP, appropriately entitled New Directions.

We are currently getting ready to track that EP over the next few months, all the while preparing for our devastating live emergence in the new year.

A new project is lurking, and new songs are being written... Details as they emerge.
