The solo project called "MPHM" started at the turning of the century inspired by the North-European ambient genre: The Orb, Pan Sonic, Biosphere and also composers such as Howard Shore, Angelo Badalamenti and Danny Elfman.
The dark, moody tapestry is punctuated by electronic glitches and samples along with dull rythmn and drones. It could be the sound of a lifestyle or rather the sound of what life can evolve into day after day.
MPHM is part of two netlabels, Abyssa [http://abyssa.netlabel.free.fr/] and Cold Room [http://www.cold-room.com/] which specialize in free releases under Creative Commons license.
Our goal is to distribute free, alternative music to worldwide audience.
