Ms. Monica Kent knew from the time she could speak her very first words that she wanted to sing. Born August 16th outside of Philadelphia, she began her career in singing, songwriting and recording at 9 years old. Since then, Ms. Monica has been featured of the hit TV show "Showtime at the Apollo," and has even been asked to audition as an opening act for both Keyshia Cole and Lil Kim. Her dedication and hard work can be seen through her determination to succeed in the musical world. Ms. Monica writes, sings, and co-produces everything that she has recorded. At 20 years old, Ms. Monica Kent knows that by staying focused and surrounding herself with positive people, her dreams and ambitions will soon become a reality.
