If anyone has a successful method of fixating soft pastel onto acrylic, I am all ear - it's a combination of media I LOVE working with, but the only way to get the dry powder stay put would be to wrap it in plastic (but even that over times gets a bit... well... not so ideal).
In all the years I have not found something similar to work with like soft pastel - and no, oil pastel are not a choice. If anyone has a suggestion, I am more than ear!!

it is part of a larger painting which you can see here (still in progress, but getting close to being done). It also has a background of what it means, but this changed over time, so now it's just what it is :-)
