Jan 19th, 2009: HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!! Hope everybody had a blessed holiday. I had a great Christmas and New Years. Today is MLK day. Today is a day to remember how far we've come. Although I may not agree with President elect Barack Obama on many issues, I do feel comforted to know that in these present times a President can be of any race or creed. That alone is what I believe Dr. King would be most proud of on this particular day of remembrance. Amen. Anyways, I wanted to let everyone know that I'm slowly working on some new music. Seems like there is so much keeping me busy these days, especially school. I'm trying to make time to collaborate with a few new local artists. I'm also looking forward to creating some new material with bassist Ben (Jamin'). A few other little surprises are in the works as well. I feel it necessary to end this blog post in a prayer... I pray God grants me a renewed focus in this new year. I pray it is an unwavering focus centered directly on Christ. I pray that I may be granted the time necessary to write new material for my fans, myself, and most importantly my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that all who are intended to seek You Lord may come to know you this day. Praise you for you are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Amen. I hope to share some new music with everyone really soon. Christ's love to all! 1.

Oct. 30th, 2008: It's been a few months, but I'm on my way back into the studio. I'M BACK! and prepared to complete my long awaited album, "Turn The Tables"...Triple T. Jesus is so amazing and has done so many mighty works over the past year. I'm constantly busy, but I feel tonight God has inspired me to get back into the studio ASAP! God Bless and VOTE ON NOV. 4th! 1.

Aug. 28th, 2008: I'm now 21. I want to first and foremost thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with 21 years! Secondly, I'd like to thank my fans, friends, and family!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE & SUPPORT!!! Christ's Mighty Blessings!!! 1.

MY TESTIMONY:

What's goin' on peoples? It's your boy Mikey Thomas here just letting you know some things about me that you probably don't know. First and foremost I LOVE writein' and rhymein' for Christ! My other passions are youth ministry, business, politics, and sports. I am currently working on my first "Christian Hip Hop" album. I've always had a deep love for the art of hip hop.

As a young artist my mindset was fixed on talking about selling drugs, demoralizing woman, boozin', and fightin'. My favorite artists were "NWA", "The Beastie Boys", and "MF Doom". However, my Perfect Father Yahweh had something else in mind for my music, and ultimately my life.

My mother had always taught me to put my trust in Christ. I tried to have true faith, but never really understood what it meant. Then tragedy struck my family in 2003. My father Percy Myers Wimberly, may his soul rest in peace, committed suicide. After that incident I became entranced to rebel. I did everything but the right thing during that time period. However, by the grace of God in 2006 that all changed! I really started putting my faith in Christ because I realized for the first time in my life how sinful this world really is.

Jeremiah 29:11 ("For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord; plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope, and a future.") was a key verse in helping me fully make the life changing decision to accept that we all fall short of God's glory, but in spite of that fact He gave up His only son Jesus Christ to die as atonement for our sins!

Things clicked, and now His light shines through me. Instead of trying to emulate a hip hop that preaches death and destruction, I write of one that contains uplifting positive messages both politically and spiritually. However, the most important effect my faith has had on my music is that it teaches a sinful world heading for destruction of the reality of it's only hope, Jesus Christ!
