3rd Annual Printers' Ball Announced
Expanded Chicago literary festival includes month-long reading series
Chicago--The 3rd Annual Printers' Ball is scheduled for Friday, July 20th, at the Zhou B. Art Center in the heart of Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. Created by local print publications, book publishers, and literary organizations, the festival provides readers an opportunity to celebrate and explore Chicago's vibrant print scene. For the first time, a variety of literary organizations including Bookslut, Stop Smiling, The Dollar Store, ACM, Danny's, Myopic, and Palabra Pura will host a month-long series of collaborative readings leading up to the July 20 literary festival.

The Printers' Ball is an annual celebration of print literature in Chicago, hosted by Poetry, in collaboration with more than eighty local literary organizations. The festival showcases a diverse selection of print publications including magazines, journals, and weeklies. Event organizers expect to give away more than 6,000 free magazines at this year's Printers' Ball.
