After reading tons of blowhards and other voices who have decided to post about their lives and other affairs on the internet, such as what hilarious thing their cat did the other day, I have decided to add my voice to the cacophony. I have to get back into writing form and put all of the news reading to actual good use.

The name of my blog is Oh Stewardess, I Speak Jive!, a reference to the hilarious Airplane (if you haven't seen this movie, you're really in the dark and need to see it...like now). There'll be music talk, culture talk, politics talk, but it's all talk and nothing from my own life. If I told you what happened in my real life, you'd be disturbed by my behavior.

For example, yesterday at Easter Dinner, my grandfather can't chew his food correctly so he gets air bubbles in his throat. I didn't know this at the time when what went down went down. Anyway, he starts talking about this jacket that he got from a lady at his retirement home. As he talked, there is this gurgling sound, as if he is going to vomit at any moment; just start spewing over the table. Anyway, as he is talking, I just started laughing. As he kept going on, it just kept getting worse and worse. I literally started crying laughing at this man who was telling the most innocuous story ever. He left, but I was still laughing. These are the weird things that happen in my life: laughing at seniors.
