TRANSIT says:
Hey Everyone, As we move from 2007 into 2008 I find myself reflecting over the many months that I have had a chance to be a part of TRANSIT. I have great memories of the TRANSIT BBQ, the baseball game, our recent xmas party and all of the other gatherings that we have had. I want to especially thank Grace World Outreach Church for allowing us to host TRANSIT twice a month. Without them allowing us to host it there, I'm not sure how we would have had it. They have truly been an asset to this ministry. Recently I have been spending a lot of time in prayer and fasting and I have come to the conclusion that the Lord is moving me on from leadership at Grace World Outreach Church. I have already spoken to Pastor Donnie Lewis (Interim Youth Pastor) to let him know that we will no longer be holding TRANSIT gatherings at Grace World Outreach in 2008. However, I look forward to staying in contact and being a resource to all of you. I plan on keeping in contact and putting together some activites in 2008 so that we can all still keep in touch and continue the relationships we have started, like iron sharpening iron. If you have any questions please feel free to email me and I will respond as soon as I can. I wish you guys the greatest new year and may you chase the lion that stares you down in 2008. Kirby Alfaro
