IN MEMORIAM: NADAINFINITUM (1995 - 2009)
=============================
"Nada Infinitum" were an electronic project intended for genre, noise and psychological exploration, active from 1995 to April of 2009.
Formed in 1995 by Gorbo Planus and Bnulio Suriso, this duo started recording music at first solely with computer synthesizers and samplers, but later developed their artistry into performing actual instruments, recording original samples (sounds ranging from screams, glass breaking, dogs munching on food, wind, and bodily gases), cutting up sounds from records, and later melding them into compositions.
Much later Gorbo had some ideas for lyrics, but these were discarded and the project remained instrumental. Bnulio's strange and mysterious death during a hunting trip in Venezuela left Gorbo alone, but in May of 2000 Codename:Serulio became his partner in Nada Infinitum.
"A Rhythmic Cervical Spasm", released in 2002 as a very limited edition demo, contains at most, musical compositions which convey "the sounds of stomach aches" according to Codename:Serulio. The demo has been reviewed as being "at times, extremely calm, extremely violent, extremely commercial, and extremely unaccessible". A very weird picture for any band.
"Brain Stem" in 2004 came next, with darker and more difficult sounds.
After being independent for many years, Nada Infinitum were signed by Infinitum Records. The band had also become a trio, as turntablist/producer/artist Prodigy Freud has joined since October of 2007.
The band were currently working on their first LP, called "The Chaos Thunderbolt Steers All Things", until Codename:Serulio decided to quit the band.
Gorbo Planus then decided to dissolve Nadainfinitum and concentrate on his own musical work.
Nada Infinitum were Gorbo Planus, Codename: Serulio and Prodigy Freud.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
