I was born in a small town tucked somewhere in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya...a geological crack that stretches some 3,000miles from Syria to Mozambique. I'm the oldest of three children and have for the last 11 years been living in the United States.
Singing has been in my blood before I knew who I was. It's all I've wanted to do, and what I still want to do with my life. I write my songs as a way to figure out life, to observe what's happening around me and hoping people will find a common ground with my experiences.
My parents always taught me to leave a place better than I found it and that's what I hope to do with the words I write.
So welcome to my corner of the world.
