began this project in summer 2004. played first show the day after writing my first songs. recorded that show and started sending it out to places to get more shows. toured the rest of the year with viking moses, tiger saw, hotel alexis, faces of the never morning, and sam rosen.

2005 - released 'lights out' on broken sparrow records. joined dirty projectors and toured with them. toured solo rest of the year with tiger saw, jason anderson, casey dienel, jason voss, and castanets. played around 130 shows. also released a split cassette tape with deer tick on tabel tapes.

2006 - released 'enter the winter' on broken sparrow. 2 national tours in dirty projectors. other tours the rest of the year with sam rosen, deer tick, and extra life. played over 150 shows. band lineups included dave longstreth - guitar, will glass - drums; and brett deschenes - trumpet, charlie looker, guitar. left dirty projectors. bass playing featured on tiger saw "sing!", dirty projectors "new attitude".

2007 - moved to bar harbor ME. toured minimally with sam rosen, sandro perri. full band assembled in the fall with nate horton - cello, caley monahon-ward - violin, will glass - drums. bass playing featured on many recordings - sam rosen "the look south", dirty projectors/castanets split 10", tiger saw "tigers on fire", deer tick "war elephant", dirty projectors "rise above".

2008 - left bar harbor. new band lineup: brett deschenes - trumpet, jeremy leclair - alto sax, alex mead - guitar, will glass - drums. MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to be released in February on Broken Sparrow Records!!! tours to follow...
