So, last night, I sat down on the floor beside the tub while Ian was having his bath. I was peeling his orange bedtime snack and we were chatting (briefly, and in between his Superman action figure's bath, which apparently can't be disturbed by talking).

I commented, 'You know, it makes me happy to sit with you and get your snack ready while you're in the bath. What are some things that make you happy?'

He thought about it briefly, then, mouthful of orange, responded, 'Mwell, I juss wike being wissyou.'

That pretty much did it for me.
