National Airlines has been in it's current form since mid 2006. With not even a promotional gig played, or a commercial release available the band has received over 24,000 views on their myspace page since December 2006 when the first few songs were posted.

The LP titled Vice, Vice, Device is due for independant release by the band themselves in December of 2007 accompanied by a short run of Melbourne based promotional shows.

Dallas and Simon have been making music together for a while now, but it was only in 2006 that Dallas first started writing songs and singing in front of the band, previously she had always been a bass player and had been too nervous to even sing a few backing vocals. The melodic indie pop feel to the songs inspired Simon to put down his guitar for a minute and discover the world of electronica. The result is 12 incredibly catchy and fun songs utilising strong vocals, 60's inspired guitar feels and some amazing classic 80's keyboard sounds.

National Airlines are influenced by such classic bands as the B-52's, Gary Newman, Talking Heads and Television as well as current acts such as New Young Pony Club and Le Tigre.

To get the songs into a live arena, NA have added the talents of keyboard player Nifty along with Simon playing guitar and Dallas singing and playing keyboards intermittantly. As with most dance friendly acts drums and bass elements are sequenced. Live, this thing sounds incredibly 'off the record' and will get crowds moving from start to finish of their high energy set.
