Hi, my name is Nick and I live in central Massachusetts. If you must know, I live in the boonies and grew up in the woods. I like to be creative with my thoughts and very intellectual with my conversation. What I find most interesting are either current issues in news and culture, or deep discussions on the studies of musical or artistic legends. If you are already friends with me and this doesn't sound like me, you obviously havn't taken enough time to get to know me, or I'm just resisting opening up to you. Some of my favourite things to do are: spend time outdoors hiking or lounging, taking photographs, self reflection, making jokes and making people laugh, and video games have also been one of my vices. Some qualities I absolutely despise are: ignorance, bias, greed, selfishness, being braggart or arrogant, racism, and stubborness. That's just a brief description of myself, but if you'd like to know more, feel free to give a heads up, I'm always ready for discussion, especially if you need something resolved, I am an excellent listener*.

So here's the deal. If anyone is going to read this, take it into consideration. I need to get a hobby, figure out what kind of music I'm into the most, and start networking... getting out there and having fun. I think I just hold myself back to much. So basically what …
I'd like to meet people who are much like me, but at the same time have contrasting qualities that help me learn more about who I am. It would be nice to find someone like that, someone to spend my time with... for now, forever, or maybe just for a cup of coffee...
I like many artists of many different areas of music... my favourite thing to listen to in my car and when i sleep is piano jazz, at a party, hip-hop especially the old school stuff and underground, and when I get really drunk, anything that'll make me dance, mostly really upbeat stuff... ... MOS DEF - "speech is my hammer, bang the world into shape, now let it fall..." Here are some artists which I enjoy listening to: (note: they are not in any particular order, although some are much more influential than others... some of these I can't live with out, some of them I've enjoyed hearing over the years, and some of them I barely know their music but what I've heard so far.. i love) Talib Kwali, Coldplay, Rage Against the Machine, Primus, Led Zepplin, Steve Miller Band, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aquilera, Justin Timberlake, A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, John Mayer, Kylie Minogue, Fall Out Boy, David Bowie, The Beatles, Pharell, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, The Pixies, Marilyn Manson, Benny Benassi, Dropkick Murphys, The Fray, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nelly Furtado, Fergie, Linkin Park, Presidents of The United States, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G, 311, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, Bob Marley, Ludacris, Missy Elliott, Jamie Cullum, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Issac Hayes, Fugees, Weezer
Film: I like so many different kinds of movies it's impossible to name all of them, so I'll just say a few Genres... Classic Movies (anything in black and white between 1930 and 1965) Comedies (obviously, but not like romantic comedies) Psychological Thrillers and Documentaries The Tele: I don't get much time to watch television anymore... but when I do... I enjoy watching comedies, something that will make me laugh, or the history channel, because there's always something new and cool to learn about, or sometimes I'll watch those pointlessly horrible reality series on VH1 because I'll admit it, they're just addicting, also some shows that many people might not think I'd like are TopDesign, America's Next Top Model, TopChef, Everyday Italian, Big O and Aqua Teen Hunger Force... but that's not that surprising haha. Art: My taste in art is very broad... I like much of the classical art from the renaissance, pop art from the mid-20th century, and new age modern art... I'm very interested in design, whether it be clothing, a room, architecture, media design, or even film-making. Also performing arts are something i've always wanted to get into, mostly acting. Print: I love being informed, but not by watching the news... I like to read books and magazines that teach me about something I've never heard of. Some of my favourite magazines are Scientific American, Popular Mechanics, Psychology Today... and then there are the more mainstream magazines like Rolling Stone... As far as books go, the same rule applies.. I like books that are more like documentaries, my favourite so far is a book called, "Everything Bad Is Good For You." I highly recommend reading it. Although I do enjoy other books with plots and such... mostly intellectual or psychological thrillers. I've also been fond of keeping up on my philosophy...
There are many things that I like to do, but I have no specific hobbies or clubs that I am a part of... as I said before, I just like being outdoors in general, it makes you feel good. One of my favourite things in the whole world is the smell of rain in spring, it's better than drugs haha. I like hiking, biking, swimming, and climbing... but I also like to play lots of video games, so you can tell my activites are broad. I like going out on the town and having a good time with some close friends and meeting new ones, but I also appreciate spending time with really close friends in a comfortable environment.

Yep, that's me. Nice job finding me! What classes are you taking this semester?
Simplexposure, Mar 23, 2007:
There is a small gallery in the Traina Center at Clark. I'm pretty sure there are going to be a few screenings of some student films at the end of the semester. Once the dates are set I'll keep you updated.

Hahaha, but this site is better than myspace. No obnoxious ads, no evil corporations controlling it, etc. haha. The more people join the more other people want to join, lol. But yeah, I just figured it's funner when you know more people on it.
Also, some people, myself included, are very into zombies. I should let you borrow the Zombie Survival Guide. It's badass.
LASTLY, we should get together or something now that we're not in school and whatnot. I'll be leaving the area pretty soon, wmass for camp in the Summer and the Boston area for school in the Fall, so I have like a month and a half to hang out with people around here. Let me know!
Simplexposure, Mar 22, 2007:
Hey what's up man. Yeah I'm in school right now. Almost done. I graduate in May. I'm a film major at Clark University but have taken many Graphic Design classes as well. I'm really into that stuff.
Jessay, Mar 22, 2007:
Yo, invite some of your friends!!
Jessay, Mar 21, 2007:
Yay!
As far as the music thing is concerned, you look up bands you like (there aren't that many on here at this point, but there are enough that you might like a few of them) and you pick songs off their playlist and click the "add" button. You can add fifteen songs to your playlist, the top three show up on your page.
